Basic Bread

This is my first attempt to bread. Saw an easy recipe at JustPeace and followed it (with a few modifications). For instance, I didn’t use a bread tray and baked the dough at 170°C for 50 minutes. Was a bit apprehensive. I’m just so glad it turned out well. It was such a treat to see the bread rise.

Topped the other loaf with almonds.

This one is for breakfast.

  1. The crust on this looks golden, crispy and delicious!
