Cheesey Beef Kaldereta For Two

Pre-cooked beef cubes in broth

Onions, garlic, red bell pepper, cheese, tomatoes, Tabasco sauce and *liver spread (*not in the picture)

To prepare:

  1. Boil 1/4 kilo of beef cut into cubes till tender. Separate the beef cubes and the broth. Set aside.
  2. Sauté minced garlic (5 cloves), chopped onion (1 head), red bell pepper (1 piece), chili pepper (1 to 2 pieces) in vegetable oil.
  3. Add in the pre-cooked beef cubes, the tomato slices (5 pieces), the liver spread (1 small can), and 1 beef bouillon dissolved in a cup of water, the remaining beef stock, and some salt and ground pepper to taste.
  4. Put in half a cup of grated cheese (and olives, if you have any) and simmer till the sauce thickens.
  5. Take out of the pan and serve with steamed rice.
