Improvised Chicken Ala King

  1. Saute minced garlic, chopped onions and red bell pepper in vegetable oil.
  2. Add in a handful of chicken strips and lightly fry.
  3. Pour in chicken bouillon dissolved in a cup of water or a cup of chicken broth.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of butter, a pinch of pepper, 1/4 cup of cream or milk and cover the pot till the chicken is cooked.
  5. Put in green peas, bits of young corn and carrots cut in squares. Leave to cook. Serve on top of toast or in soup bread.
