Beef Bits in Soy Sauce

In The Unlikely Cook, Wok on February 11, 2010 at 4:41 am

Marinate 1/4 kilo beef sirloin, cut into very small pieces in a mixture of kalamansi or lemon juice and soy sauce for about half an hour.
Saute onion slices (1 head), minced garlic (5 cloves) and chopped red bell pepper (2 large pieces, include the seeds) in vegetable oil.
Add in the beef and fry in medium heat till nice and brown.
Pour in a portion of the marinade and half a cup of water. Cook in low heat till it achieves a thick, gravy-like texture.
Remove from the pan and serve on top of steamed rice.
